I wish I could shoot this wedding again, and again and again.
You will never in your life meet a more beautiful and genuinely caring person than Natasha. Her counterpart, Steve is the perfect ying to her yang. Their breathtaking timeless grace is complimented by the most amazing sense of humor and appreciation of a good time.
This was a little extra special, because of the dress. The dress was originally Natasha’s mothers, and over the course of a year it was transformed into the dress Natasha wore on her wedding day. I was lucky enough to visit the seamstress with her and capture the whole thing being made from start to finish; watching her mother help put it on her was emotional for the whole room.
I’m sitting here, typing this remember how wonderfully warm this day was; these two have such great chemistry, I hope their wedding day is just as beautiful.
I was filled with joy when Natasha and Steve asked me to be their wedding photographer, for if someone asked me to name the most beautiful person I know – it’s Natasha. Inside and out.
So Matt and Melissa are currently very happy to refer to themselves as Mr & Mrs. Pope right now, as they tied the knot in December in the most beautiful wedding.
(Which I won’t spoil, coming soon on the blog!)
Before they were husband and wife, we walked the roads of St. John’s soaking up the stunning golden sun as it streamed through the colourful tree branches. These were shot during that perfect moment the sun does that thing it does… You can almost hear their laughter and love through the photos.
A while ago, I got an email from a beautiful girl named Laura who had no hopes for an engagement ring – she and her long time boyfriend had just bought a house and wanted a few photos to put on the walls. On the shoot we must have planted a bug in his mind and heart, because Jonathon proposed shortly there after and the count down to their wedding day had begin!
There were so many smiles going around, it was infectious. The laughter, the tears and the joy that was a part of Laura and Jonathon’s wedding day were so spectacular to be a part of.
I take photos a bit better than I talk, less talk, more pictures.
Layla’s cousins Harlow and Elise were just on the blog – and now it’s her time to shine, of course her Grandparents beautiful property in Brigus! Infectious personalities and beauty are something that are in abundance in this family.
Pop’s little cabbage patch kid.
From their engagement shoot alone, I knew their wedding was going to be one I’d never forget. Their relationship is pure love, beauty and a lot of being silly. The amount of time and dedication that went into each and every detail of this wedding is over whelming, everything was personal, everything was perfect.
Some say it takes a village to raise a child, I think it takes a village to make a wedding THIS magical to happen. My heart, head and camera were happy after this wonderful day.
Who says the groomsmen have to pose awkwardly before the ceremony, why not play Mario kart?
These signs were hand made by Amy’s mother! She’s seriously on wheels, they were beautiful!
Just calming the nerves.
If you’re wondering it’s hibiscus flowers and raspberries in champagne, and yes it was delicious.
Amy’s grandfather restores antique toys, candy machines oh, and fire trucks!
I believe this is where I said “you’re velociraptors”
