Sometimes, he helps her into the dress.
Sometimes, it’s balmy and breezeless during the month of February in Newfoundland.
Sometimes, instead of an officiant – you can have a song.
But you should always, be true to yourselves.
My favourite wedding, with my favourite couple.
This one happened last July, and I won’t even apologize for all the detail photos because Amy & Josh + Murray’s Pond = magic. PURE FRIGGIN’ MAGIC.
Shooting another photographer’s wedding is nothing short of an honor, especially when that photographer is the one and only Aamie Gillam. She’s my soul sister, no doubt.
Sometimes you have to wait out the rain. It’s worth it. Love is an adventure, so let’s go on one. 🙂
At the very end of the evening, the whole sky turned orange. Orange crush orange, and I’ve never quite seen anything like it since. You can see the colour cast here in Amy’s face. Pretty rad!
I love the caribbean, and anyone who will wake up pre-sunrise the morning after their wedding.
Because I’ve never blogged this, it’s coming soon…
Kim and Leo skipped the engagement session and instead invited Conrad and I out (post wedding) cod fishing instead. Kim & Leo are the masterminds behind Island Rooms of Petty Harbour; if you get a chance check out their website and all the good they’re doing to teach the youth about our past on the water!
We’re up for any offbeat adventure when it comes to your engagement/wedding/post-wedding/family portrait!! Hell we’ll even swim in the ocean with whales with you (and we have the gear to do it) if that’s what you want to do!
