Brad + Renee : Rocking Signal Hill

I’ll never forget the email from Renee that told me not only would I be meeting her to discuss shooting her wedding, but her best friend Barbara to shoot her’s too! From that moment Renee’s wedding has stood out in my head as one I was anticipating shooting with excitement. (Barbara’s too of course!!!) Most of my weddings I go in a hired photographer and leave feeling like family, and Brad and Renee’s wedding was no exception.

“The one thing I’m not worried about is my photography. I know you got this” Renee said as she slipped out my door a week before her wedding, and boy did we ever “get this”. I love weddings where we laugh, have adventures and fun. Weddings are supposed to be about your love and commitment to one and another – you’re supposed to have a fricken killer wedding day. Brad and Renee laughed, joked, smiled and climbed their way through their wedding day, leaving me to believe their marriage will be full of the same kind of love.

Weddings were never supposed to start on time anyway… πŸ˜‰

Brad moving us all to tears, with a moving speech to his new bride.

What do you do while you wait for your dance floor to be cleared? Go to the fair of course. They wouldn’t let us in the bouncy castles, but a big thank you to Thomas Amusements for all the free hop on rides πŸ˜‰
