Bob + Jen :: September 3rd :: Wedding On Wheels!
Bob and Jen’s story began a long time ago. I remember seeing them around, before we were friends – jealous of how sickeningly perfect they were for each other. I can’t begin to list the things these two have in common or the amount of fun they’ve had in all their years together, because this blog would be a lot longer than it’s already going to be.
Jen’s status the morning of their wedding sent me into a giggle fit and made me jump in my car and head over to her place early, because I couldn’t contain my excitement.
“Dear everyone,
I have a lot of tattoos so try not to be too surprised when you see me in my dress.
Sincerely,
The Bride”
What better way to start your wedding day, two very different but very delicious toasts.
Allyson’s face said it all, she was the most excited maid of honor to date. (Spoiler note: She had a folder entitled Jen’s Wedding on her macbook THREE years ago)
Bro Tattoos 4 life.
My favorite series of the day ♥
Also the first wedding to feature several wrestling moves.

I was really tempted to post Bob’s profile emo picture he FIRST had when I met these two in this blog, however I’ll leave you with the handsome grown up Bob.
A big part of Jen’s recent life revolves around being part of the 709 Derby Girls. We grabbed the derby folk and headed out doors while they cleared the tables for the first dance.
you’re not the only one sad the wedding is over..
Randy + Leeann :: August 27th :: Fogo Island
I remember staring at Fogo Island in my Social Studies book in elementary school – Joe Batt’s Arm, Stag Harbour, Tilting – they seemed so far away. When the email hit my inbox from Leeann – I started picturing everything I knew about Fogo and the excitement built.
Leeann and Randy are stunners – knock outs even! While knowing each other the better part of their childhood as just friends and Randy almost losing his chance to an acrobat, the wait it took them to figure out they were perfect for each other was worth it.
Randy and Leeann’s friends and family are so full of love, life and happiness, it was so fantastic seeing Fogo for the first time with them by our side.
Leeann’s mother stood as her maid of honor – a testament to the statement that her mother is her best friend.
There’s not many people besides the groom who can knock the bride off her feet on her wedding day…
A gentle reminder of our location, this caribou was lawfully obeying all traffic rules.
And, for every girl who wished Justin Timberlake would magically appear and serenade them with the words to This I Promise you… I think Randy’s rendition was a bit better than the real thing.
Darryl & Deanne :: August 20, 2011 – Pinchard’s Island, Newfoundland Wedding
The boys prepped by washing Darryl’s truck. The girls prepped by shooting Sour Puss and Golden Wedding. If there was any nervousness between these two, it was hard to tell. The air hung with excitement and anticipation. We all loaded into speed boats and were brought just off the coast of Newtown to Pinchard’s Island. While this name may not be familiar to you, it’s a name that holds over a hundred years of history for Deanne’s family and she was about to have the first wedding on the island since the the island was resettled in the early 1950′s.

Deanne handmade these necklaces for her bridesmaids from beach glass!
The chariot awaited us.

There are very few structureson Pinchard’s Island, those two red cabins you see are the family cabins. The flag on the hill to the right, is just above where they said I Do.
Have you ever seen a more joyous bride?
The day was a bright one, the sun did it’s best to stay hidden but the sky was just hurtin’.
They were married on the very spot the old Methodist Church stood, which is where the last wedding on the island was held.
But wait, not only is Darryl a dashingly handsome man – he’s a man of service too.
Amy + Ian :: Modern, Vintage & Chic in Humber Valley, Newfoundland
The little details made me swoon. The vintage suitcases, her bird cage veil, his enthusiasm, their love and beauty, the farm, balloons, burlap, mason jars.. oh wait, I’m getting ahead of myself here. There are many other incredibly romantic weddings I’ve yet to crack open, so.. for now…
Michael + Margaret :: August 13th
This wedding ended in a courtyard frolic. I’m not kidding. There’s a picture of it on the internet if you look hard enough. When you take a break from dancing to go be ridiculous with your friends and photographer for a few last minute shots, you’re more than okay in my books. Michael and Maggie are the kind of people that once you meet them, you know they were meant for each other. They’re fun, they’re athletic and they rounded up the best group of friends and family to help them celebrate their wedding day.
The other side of the cake was sent to Maggie’s location, they’re affectionally known as M&M.
Awfully handsome in this shot Mike.
Texting each other is perfectly acceptable on your wedding day. The one below this ended in RAWR XOXOX. Loves.
The Sheraton courtyard is a beautiful indoor location for a wedding.
They walked straight out of a bridal magazine, I love it! So beautiful, all of them!
While taking the above shot, the Groomsmen (all of which were M&M’s brothers, minus the little guy!) BY THEIR OWN DECISION decided to rest in this particular formation, Mike ran down to join them!
Love, LOVE, LOVE this shot!
And in case you haven’t figured it out yet, Maggie is STUNNING.
Phenomenal cake by Jessica Best (Cupcake Gourmet!)
The most passionate skinnamarink performance to date.
Getting a bit of manly advice of course.
Deon + Jennifer :: August 6th, 2011
The rain threatened all week, heavy rain and winds were on the forecast for Saturday, August 6th. With a heavy heart we drove through the darkness the night before, checked into the hotel and fell asleep fearing the worst. We woke up expecting Waterworld, Marystown Version – however we were greeted with the bluest skies and the brightest sun I’ve seen all summer. Take that weather forecast.
Deon and Jennifer are two lucky people. Not only have they found love in each other, and have found it quite some time ago – they are surrounded by people who are willing to go to the ends of the earth for them. They were married behind Jennifer’s house where Jennifer spent countless hours day dreaming as a child of this day, her wedding day. To prepare the land for their wedding, trees were tore up, ground was leveled, stairs were made, paths and boardwalks were laid around and every care was taken to make this the day of their dreams.
She had an honest to goodness little prince and angel standing for her.
Remember years ago, the photographer would awkwardly pose the bride looking out the window in anticipation? I walked into the room and the Jen was excitedly peeping out the window. Au natural baby.
Not a bad view to grow up with.
The beer porter for the day, start training young.

Growing up Jennifer loved the Little Mermaid. She would sit on this rock and sing her little heart out, hoping she’d get to wear her white dress and marry her prince one day. Jen’s dress may look familiar to you as it’s from the Alfredo Angelo Disney Princess Collection. The name of this dress? Ariel. ![]()

Deon decided to give the Captain a run for his money.
Jen asked to use this gorgeous antique dresser for a few shots, loved it!
The HILARIOUS MC’s – my receptions are the BEST!
Big thank you to the guy who let us use his Goldwing as a prop for a bit!
